News & stories

This is where the season gets written down. Match reports, title races, squad features and the moments that do not fit in a league table — all of it from the caged, floodlit pitches at Madokero Mall in Harare.

The 2026 campaign gave us a story that will take some beating. Chiback went the entire Emagumeni Futsal League season unbeaten — twelve games, twelve wins, thirty-six points from a possible thirty-six — and did it with a squad of seven players in a league where some sides rotate fifteen. Both stories above cover how that record was built and who built it.

Behind the champions, the season was closer than the top of the table suggests. Benchwarmers lost once in eleven games and still finished second. Three sides ended level on nine points. Those are the races we follow week to week once the fixtures are back under way.

New reports go up after matchdays, so the quickest way to keep up between posts is our social feeds, where updated standings and matchday graphics land first. The full league standings here are updated from the official score sheets once results are confirmed.

If you want the wider picture, the eight clubs in the league and the squad lists for every side give you the names behind the results.

Played in a game worth writing about, or think your side deserves a feature? Message us — a fair amount of what ends up here starts with someone telling us what happened on their pitch. Entries for the next Winter and Summer League campaigns are open, and the pitches are available to hire at $20 an hour in the meantime.
